Everything was amazing! Customer service was perfect. We got the steamed soup dumplings and two different Ramens. This is definitely our new favorite Ramen place!!
At first glance, the food seemed amazing - presentation was very nice, and we ordered chicken karage as an appetizer. The chicken seemed more like Taiwanese popcorn chicken instead of karage, but it was still tasty to eat.
I ordered the duck miso ramen and it was okay. Not abundantly flavorful, but the noodles made it work. Same comment for the spicy miso ramen - it was not very flavorful. The egg was a bit overcooked to be soft boiled. The shrimp pineapple fried rice was bland, although the shrimp and pineapple were independently good. The chicken katsu curry was similarly bland. What really set it apart from the other dishes was that we found a piece of plastic in it! It was in between the chicken and the breading, so perhaps the cooks did not thoroughly check the chicken before they put the breading on.
Thankfully, the restaurant offered a replacement dish - chicken fried rice. It was not bland!
What made eating here such a great experience was our amazing server! She was very nice and friendly. I would only recommend eating here for the service - beware plastic in your food!
I have driven by here several times and decided to try a new ramen place out with my husband. The menu is quite large here, so after looking over it, we decided on the beef bao, whole grilled squid, spicy chicken ramen, and gyoza. The bao and gyoza came out first. I'm allergic to pork so I did not try the gyoza but my husband really enjoyed them and said they were some of the best he has had. The beef bao were good, we really enjoyed the sauce on it. The whole squid looked good but after eating some of it you could tell it was previously frozen from its texture and very overcooked . It was like eating a rubber band. Parts of it were also a little too charred so you really couldn't enjoy the whole squid. The chicken ramen was also a disappointment. The ramen was bland but had a weird smoky flavor. The chicken was super dry and overcooked and the noodles were mushy from being overcooked.
We came in 10-23 about 8:30. Son was our server, he was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. Thanks for your great service! We came back 10-24 about 8:30 and had dinner again. Our server was Quynh. She was really friendly and kept my glass full! Excellent experience! They have a large bar menu, though we didn't have any drinks. Well, we came back for more. 10-27 about 9:30. This time our server was Nick. We did apologize for coming in so late but he was happy to serve us. Food is constantly delicious! Thanks for taking care of us so late!!
I enjoyed having lunch here. The staff were very kind and accommodating. They gave great suggestions since we were first timers. Here's what we tried: …
Perfect little spot for Japanese cuisine. Kinda don't want to tell anybody about it. Bar looks great too!
Shonen music was a great bonus!
Fantastic spot for Japanese cuisine! We had the Tuna Tataki which was delicious. The sauce had a nice finishing kick, and was superb. I had the spicy duck miso ramen, which was off the chain. The duck was cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed …
Great service, Sonny was very patient and knowledgeable about the menu. The beef spicy (chicken broth) was excellent. My wife said the pork Ramen was fantastic. Nice cozy spot located in the vintage. Ramen is good anytime, but the weather is cooling down, so stop by for some great food, nice atmosphere, and excellent service.
